Meet the Pathways Team
Susan overseeing all the services that we provide. Susan has extensive experience in the strategic and operational management of services for people with learning disabilities.
She has worked with a broad range of client groups across a number of service models. Susan is passionate about quality and ensuring that services are designed to maximise opportunities for continued personal development.
This, together with her experience and commitment ensures that the individuals we work with are provided with robust support packages, tailored specifically to their needs.
Susan is also an accomplished turnaround specialist, with extensive experience of managing complex business challenges to improve outcomes for people who use care and support services. She has a background of working at a high level within large Social Care organisations to help solve operational problems and improve quality.
Carly has worked for Pathways for over 10 years. Since starting in 2012 Carly has seen Pathways grow and develop into the award winning provider that it now is.
In December 2020, Carly was thrilled to receive on behalf of the Pathways team, the Portsmouth Learning Disability Provider Recognition award. This was a welcome celebration following the tough year felt by all following the pandemic.
Carly oversees everything 'Pathways' and is passionate about the people we support.
In her spare time Carly enjoys spending time with her husband, children, dogs and cat as well as listening to true crime podcasts!
Emily has worked at Pathways for 6 years. Starting as a support worker, Emily quickly worked her way up to Senior Support Worker and then to Service Manager.
Emily manages supported living services and all of our community support packages and has a passion for supporting people into independence.
In her spare time and when not being a Mum, Emily can be found ghost hunting at various locations throughout the UK.
Rachel has been a stalwart of Pathways for eight years, starting as a support worker before promotion to senior and now to Service Manager for the services we provide that are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Rachael has worked in the care industry for over 20 years, and as well as working with adults with a learning disability, she is experienced within the older person's sector and was an end of life family liaison worker for some time.
Rachael oversees the teams in our services that deliver regulated activity and makes sure that we deliver the best possible support to the individuals in our supported living houses.
Nick provides admin support at the Pathways Central Support Office at Fratton Community Centre, and has been with Pathways for two years.
He has an extensive background in the Civil Service as well as comprehensive experience as International Taxation Consultant with the large commercial accountancy firm Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC).
Nick assists us with recruitment and general administration, and keeps our cogs well oiled. He is an accomplished musician, playing a variety of instruments and has been in a number of bands both in the UK and Europe.
